日本三大バラードの1つ、最後の雨 / 中西保志（トーニャハーディングカバー）作りました。
歌ウマの若い男子とか、この世代ど真ん中のおじさんが歌うよりも、綺麗な女の子ボイスのAIに歌わせた方がサマになるなと思い、前作のオリジナルに続いて
（ASMRとか名付けておきながら低音が強すぎだな・・・）
Synthesizer V「花隈千冬」に活躍してもらいました。女の子ボーカルにしたので、キービジュアルも寄せました。
初代初音ミクはCD-ROMで買ったけどほとんどいじらなかったなぁ・・・と懐かしみ。あの頃と比べると随分AI的なボーカルが凄くなりました。ただ、神・中西保志の歌い回しなどを真似たいところもあるし、細かい部分などの調整には少し苦労しました。
あと、2番からのアシッドベースが楽しいのと、随所に入れているリハモ（本来のコード進行とは変える感じ）にはこだわりました。弾き語りでもこのコード進行でやったらかなりカッコイイと思います。
ブリッジの前のちょっとしたインタールードの部分だけリムショットを入れていますが、ど真ん中のリズムから1/128だけ遅らせています。
そういうちょっとしたズレがすれ違いを生み、最後の雨の歌詞でも結局なんでフられたのかわかんないみたいな感じになっていますけど、ただノれる要素ともとれるし、ズレともとれるみたいな、これからもそういうことを音楽で表現できたら面白いなと思います。
もっとストリングスを入れたいだとか細かいことを言えばまだまだあります。次に作りたいものが出てきたのでとりあえずこれでヨシとします。
生活が忙しくてせっかく買ったCubaseをいじる時間もあまりない中、創作意欲が湧いて色々やってみたいのはとても良いことだ・・・
I created “Saigo no ame”(The Last Rain) by Yasushi Nakanishi (a cover of tonya_harding).
I thought that it would be more fitting for an AI with a beautiful girl’s voice to sing, rather than a young male with a great voice or a middle-aged man who is the epitome of this generation. So, following the original of my previous work,
(Though it’s named ASMR, the bass is too strong…)
I had Synthesizer V’s “Chiharu Hanakuma” perform. Since I opted for a female vocal, the key visual was also adjusted to match.
I nostalgically recall buying the original Hatsune Miku on a CD-ROM, but I hardly fiddled with it… Compared to those times, AI vocals have improved greatly. However, I struggled a bit with fine-tuning details, like trying to imitate the divine Yasushi Nakanishi’s singing style.
I took special care with the acid bass from the second verse and the altered chord progressions (Reharmonization) scattered throughout the piece.
There are still many things I’d like to tweak, like adding more strings, but as I already have ideas for my next project, I’ll settle for this for now.
In the midst of a busy life with not much time to tinker with Cubase, which I bought eagerly, the desire to create and try various things is a great feeling…
